An exhibition display can be a major undertaking for any company and like any marketing promotion you have to keep an eye on the project or costs can spiral. In order to budget you must understand some of the basic requirements that you my encounter.
Your first consideration is space. Most exhibition display venues will offer space only, this is charged by the square metre. The other option is shell scheme which means that your exhibition display has panels and a headboard which enables you to turn up and attach your graphics to it.
From this the next process is the stand design and build. Prices vary depending on the complexity of the stand design and as to whether you use a stand designer to build and breakdown the exhibition display. It is easy to forget that once the stand is built it will require lighting and power supply, it is worth checking on this early in the process to avoid heavy costs from the event organisers.
So, the exhibition display is ready to go to the show, if it’s not built in to the stand design costs,
you will now need to transport your exhibition display. Where possible it is a good idea to have all elements that you are taking to the show ready, for example, any literature, furniture so that you make less trips. Finally make sure that you, your staff and the exhibition are covered by insurance to avoid any litigation should an unsuspecting individual be hurt by your exhibition display.
